Spartan K2 tag axle brake shoes

Perry White Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 1,422	Need some help from someone that has changed brake shoes on the rear tag axle. Can see broken shoe on left side. Do you have to pull the hubs or just the wheel and drum?. Its a 2006 ASC-1001 tag axle but can't find any info on it. __________________

Perry White Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 1,422	I pulled the brake shoes. Not that bad of a job. I'd make sure someone looks at the brake shoes for cracks. They break loose and lock the drums. Eazy to change the shocks with the wheels off also. __________________
