Is my Spartan 2008 K2 chassis pre-wired for supplemental braking systems?

No, as there is no standard wiring connection between the MH and toad.

Each supplemental brake system is different in it's configuration.

Newmar does normally run two wires from the 7 way connector at the rear to the dash.

My 06 K-2 has the wires necessary for the toad brake. I pulled off the panel that holds the speedo and other guages and the wires were there and marked. I don't remember exactly which ones were there, but I was able to connect my US Gear brake. I know one was the brake for sure. (when you step on the brake pedal, it sends a signal thru the wire to the toad plug.)

Yours is newer so they may be in another place. Just pull out the panel and take a peek.

You could have the prewiring for a brake contrioller for trailer towing. THese wires as Joe has stated can be used for other means to connect a brake assist system for the dash area. Any air lines needed will have to be installed into the air brake manifold on the chassis. Good luxk and stay safe.
