As in most manufacturer websites, it's a bit out of date. It's not shown on the Spartan website yet, but Tiffin is now using the Spartan Mountain Master GT tag axle on the 42' Allegro Bus as an option to the Freightliner XC tag. It seems that most 42' Allegro Bus buyers are opting for the Spartan over the Freightliner. I know I sure would. I also have a spec sheet on the Spartan Mountain Master GT chassis as offered in the 40' Allegro Bus, but I don't believe Tiffin has made them available as of this month.

Mark, thanks for the followup and the clarifcation....I was aware the Spartan site is the 2006 info,as it didn't mention the London Aire, but I wasn't aware of the availability of the Spartan on the Bus.

I was a bit concerned with the roof air versus the basement air,but seeing the added storage in the Spartan configuration has calmed my fears...

Don't be concerned. I've had roof air and I've had basement air. They both are OK and they each have strong points and weak points. I guess it just boils down to the fact that they're just different. I tend to lean towards a good roof air package myself but in the end, you just find the coach that you like and live with whatever A/C they happen to give you.

If you're comparing the basement storage of the 40' Vectra with basement air on a Freightshaker Evolution to the 45' Essex with triple roof air on a Spartan K2 - there's going to be a huge difference. You are gonna love that coach in more ways than one.

10-4 on the HUGE difference!!

Thanks Mark...I was AMAZED to say the least, when I saw the K2 storage....

Guess I'll "struggle" down to Fort Wilderness on Friday for a ten days in the Vectra, then come home and get ready to r-u-m-b-l-e....

Need to be back for a meeting on the 27th,then wait for the call from Howard RV...

Also needed to come back and let Mom and the daughter get home,as I wasn't ABOUT to do a PDI with the munchkin draggin' along...
