To All,

To grease the chassis, suspension, u-joint, steering, and all other grease fittings I can find, what grease do you recommend? I have seen some info somewhere about the incompatibility of certain greases (the suspensions used are not compatible - lithium, moly, etc.). Anyway, I do not know off-hand what has been used (any easy way to find out?), so my first thought is a lithium based grease with the widest temp range?

But do defer to the more experienced.....

I bought my used '96 GS Scenic Cruiser(36ft, 250 HP diesel pusher) two years ago and have yet to grease anything (except the levelers). Only driven it about 4k miles, but after reading this forum realize this maintenance is way past due....... Prior to my owning it, the previous owner maintained it very well, incl transyn in the tranny. The coach has over 120k, but the inside was redone and the ride is still very smooth, engine runs like a charm, although the dash a/c is shot (no cooling). Underneath the few joints I have examined look very well greased - including the u-joint.

Thanks as always.

I use,

NAPA Premium Performance Milti-Purpose Wheel Bearing and Chassis Grease - Exterme Pressure Formula - NAPA part # 75-600

NLGI rating GC-LB
NLGI #2 consistency
It is a soap base lithium complex

3 years, 42K miles. All boots, fittings, etc are looking good. As of this date, no problems.
