We have been going to Quartszite for the last 5 years and riding our ATV's. Our friends that just returned from Arizona told us that they were given a citation in the amount of $500 for not having an Arizona off road permit. I thought that my green sticker was leagle for AZ but I was incorrect. I just filled out the application and sent the fifteen dollars for the annual permit.

Just a heads up for any traveling to Arizona to go off roading.

Howdy!

Did they get the citation in the Quartzsite area? We just arrived in Q last week and when we checked in at the La Posa south LTVA we asked about the ATV permit. They advised not to worry about it as know one was enforcing it. We're headed over to Parker today to renew out registration on our Rhino so I guest we can check with them. I know QPD does enforce the street legal requirements for ATV's unkown how strick the BLM land is about the new ATV permits.
