Finding ways to bring our "stuff/toys" with us in the motorhome has always been a challenge to say the least. We are presently looking for a boat, probably and inflatable, to add to the supplies since we are avid fishers too.

One of the things that has kept me from getting a fiver is because of the loss of bed space, and how to carry the bike. I've not seen a toy hauler that I like since the door kinda screws up the view, or you open the back to the world.

Something I'd like to try is see if I can get the bike in a side door then tie it down with hidden hooks. That would be sweet.

Hey guys I came across this tonight. I've highsided a small track bike before, so watching this makes me realize how good the pros are. A lot of luck, but a lot of talent.

You can't take it all with you if you fulltime. I feel lucky with one motorcycle, three helemts and three sets of leathers, 3 bicycles and 3 sets of inline skates. Much beyond that and life gets too complicated. The bicycles and skates will be in the Hummer and the motorcycle will have its own perch. I have tools for those moments of, gotta fix this, including saws and hammers. Things to track electricity and tools to screw in torx, allens, and plain old screws. I have a battery powered drill with extra battery and the list goes on. We do have excellent margarita making equipment with enough serving capability for up to six people. When we start the coffee business, well that will be another hurtle. Putting a boat in here might be a hassle.

Lake Isabella, we used to take our toyhauler there. Took the RoadKing a couple times and rode around the lake and up and down KernRiver.
I had an inflatable kayak, a SeaEagle, that we would float around the Lake and ride a mile or so of the rapids where the Lake empties out.
I love that area.

I guess that areas that are that nice for riding also attract their fair share of noisy riders too, because I remember how many RV campgrounds along the Kern had 'No Motorcycles Allowed' signs leading into their grounds. Some guys just need to rev their engines a lot.

Looks like we will be hauling a 16' flatbed trailer. The swivelwheel lift and other lifts are not adaptable to our rig. The frame/engine configuration makes for a problem mounting the equipment. Got the Cycle Shell today and that will be slipped into one of the bays as soon as I get it cleaned out and organized. Sounds like we are almost ready to roll.

Sounds like your gettin it under control Phil.

We started tearing into the van in the last couple of weeks. Got the interior stripped out and started a "game plan" for the mods that are needed to be able to put the bike in it for transport behind the motorhome. I also started my list for the upgrades that will be done to make a 1965 delivery van into a daily driver with modern amenities and manners.

Well our situation is still evolving. Being retired I can move along at a slow pace and get it wrong slower. I am going to keep the Beemer, store it in my old race trailer and take it out to Yuma for winter use. During the summer I think a sub-400lb whatever will be a great bike. I like Suzuki's supermotard DR-Z400SM and its brother. I have to face the fact that the fulltimers life is not the same as the old stick and brick.

Wish I was retired. I've been going through withdrawls, havent rode for 11 days. Our weather has been horrible, foggy, windy, drizzley, and cold.
