Is anyone aware of an "owners group" dedicated to those of us that combine both our motorhome interests with our motorcycle interests?

Not that I've found (2007 BMW K1200GT).
Oops - you said motorhome. Sorry.

Escapees has a BOF, Park and Ride, dedicated to MC/RV folks. It is not real active as far as I know. I think there are a lot of folks like us who have bikes.

Rather than tow a vehicle. I have an enclosed trailer that I tow my trike in.
Because I go camping when it is warm. If it rains I just go out the next day.

I'm one who enjoys both, and combine the two often. I think there are more of us than we think. We used to pull an enclosed trailer and just take the bike along. We now put the bike in the back of the pickup and take both along.

We also carry a Goldwing when we travel, have been using an enclosed trailer but have looked at other options. But we very seldom leave home without the bike.

Two things always travel with us: Bailey and a bike.

Like Rusty, we don't have a MH, but we do know several folks with a MH and a bike, as you can see we have a Goldwing and a toy hauler 5th wheel.
Sorry I don't know of a official group either.

I agree.....there seem to be lots RV folks that find a way not to leave home without their m/c's and yet there seems not to be any organization or forum for us to communicate. In my case, I looked and researched a long time on my own to figure out the best way for us to bring along both bikes...considered trailers, dollys, various types of lifts before settling on the Hydralift with Sports Adapter. Actually had to leave the Harleys at home (too heavy) and bought two smallers bikes (BMW F800 ST and Suzuki S50 w/total weight about 900 lbs.) Works like a charm !
Will wait to see if anyone else replies with knowledge of some sort of forum for motorcycle RV'ers. One thing I'm interested in exploring is whether or not "our kind" have any interest in a purpose specific RV park for motorcycle RV'ers....perhaps even on an "ownership" basis (ie owning their own site). Such a park could be strategically located in a motorcycle friendly area with supurb bike roads in a southern clime suitable for over-wintering. Nothing specific here but I know I'd sure be interested in such a facility.
Any comments or suggestions welcomed.

We also always travel with motorcycles... Tony competes in Vintage Trials Competitions nationally, and when possible, we bring a street bike as well. Just sold the Harley Screamin' Eagle V-Rod which fit nicely in the trailer with a few trials bikes, the BMW K1200LT is a bit large to fit anything but it in the trailer. We'd also be interested to learn about any groups that combine RV/MC... and I don't think it makes any difference if it's a motorhome or other form of RV. Ride on, ride safe!

I have always carried motorcycles with me. Began with a Honda 90 trail bike in 1969 and progressed upward in size to needing a ramp to load them on the rear. Then an electric RV Lift for my Harley; and when I got to my destination they were always in need of a bath.
Now I have an Outlaw, a class A Toy Hauler. My Harley and other toys ride inside clean, safe, and secure. I even have a camera in the garage area so I can check on things while traveling down the road.
Ride Safe.

I will tell you all what, lets start right here and if we can show that it will be used I will talk to Admin about getting us our own area. We just need to show it will be used so start spreading the word about it and as we keep posting it wont fall off and we will see what happens.

We are looking at having a lift installed on our DP, at present we tow a trailer, would like some feed back as to the good or bad of this setup.

Jim,
I think it would be a good idea. I think there is enough material and interest to support a dedicated thread. I know the motorcycle played a key role in the way we travel and many of the decisions we have made. There are a lot of scooters out there as well. Who knows, we might be able to organize an RV/MC rally!
