Great pics Phil and Carol! Thanks for sharing. We've really had a problem finding great bike paths since leaving California and there's not a lot of info or interest on this forum. If you're ever near Sacramento, Calif be sure to check out the American River Bike Path.

I'll have to try the Sacramental Trail sometime, it looks beautiful. Glad you liked the Bosque, it is special. I think there are a lot of folks here that enjoy trails but are not bicyclists. Omaha has some great trails as well and I'd strongly recommend them.

If in Missouri The Katy Trail from St Charles (just north of St Louis) west to Kansas City is a nice trail. I have only ridden the area around St Charles.

We visited relatives in St Charles in 2007 and really loved the town but we were only there for a few days and the heat/humidity didn't really lend itself to riding but I'm sure it's beautiful...
