Thank you for helping to get this forum in place for us to use. I guess that might be a good start.

We started out hauling our bikes on a 5x10 utility trailer. It worked but was not very safe to load/unload the bikes and we didn't like the lack of security.

Now we have purchased an enclosed trailer large enough for up to three bikes. It has a ramp rear door, which really makes it easy to run the bikes in or out. The only down-side seems to be that it blocks the built-in rear cam of our motorhome. I've lately found some wireless cams that can be placed on the trailer to help keep an eye on our backside. I'll update later on how well it works.

Just made a run to Phoenix and back on my RT and hit the "ton" a couple times on I-17. Great weather, light traffic, it was nice.

I've often thought of hauling it on a trailer, but I need the Jeep to transport Ms Wicked and the whippet crew at shows, so the bike stays home.

I have a large utility trailer with a long drop down ramp, so I could adapt it for the bike, but the Jeep gets in the way.

We didnt think about bringing the bike with the RV till we met Irv & Sue from Washington in there little 30' Winnie. On the back was a trailer with a 1995 HD FXR on it, at our "winter" campground. We arent full time so in the winter when its cold and snowy up here we take the moho to the Palm Desert. So we parked the moho there for awhile and we had a break in the weather so I took the Road King down and my DW met me the next day. It was a typical "nice weather weekend" and we rode all over the desert with our new friends.

Then we got a Ranger to take the bike with us, it worked out great till we hit HOURS of rain one trip. Imagine 200 miles of road grime kicked up by the moho, caked on the bike. Thats when I got the "van" idea. I am presently working on the van-toad so that we can kill 3 birds with one stone...............Harley hauler, toad, hotrod in one package.

We all have different reasons for hauling our motorcycles around with us and different ways to do it. I am a full time RVer so figuring it out is important. Mounting the motorcycle on the back of the MoHo seems best for us and towing four down for the toad.
As full time RVers we felt a trailer would be too big big if hauling a toad and bike(s) in it. It would be complicated to pull in at dark or in many CG's in general.
The use of a van we also considered and I have seen some viable options. Atlas I wanted a serious 4X4 and I did not feel a van would do it.
We will be using the cycle shell for long term stays and a light weight cover for over night when it remains on the lift. The bike will be exposed when we travel although Hydra Lift has a covered carrier. The $6000 I fond a bit steep for my tastes but perhaps there may be some of you who want such as thing.
Just some observations.
