2005 Encore winterizing

I'm winterizing my Encore for the first time (purchased a month ago) and having some issues. First, how do you drain the fresh water tank? I have it set up according to the diagram in the wet bay. Second is there a winterizing kit? I see an area to hook a hose of some sort to for the antifreeze, but how do you get it in? What am I missing? Thanks

2005 Encore

Ghostman

It seems no one has ever replied to your post about winterizing your Encore. I cannot answer it either since I have not yet picked up my coach. I just negotiated for a 2005 Encore that I will pickup next week. I'm glad to know there is someone on this forum with the same coach.

Hex nut,

Congrats on your upcoming purchase. I figured out how to winterize it. Really easy, I was just missing the hose but I have one now. Where are you getting your unit? 05 Encore? What color...we love our coach, just wish we had the booth for more sleeping space. We just completed a cross country trip this summer and it performed great! Maybe one day I'll sell and get a bunkhouse unit. But I've done so much to my coach, hard to part with it. I put Wood floor in recently and changed the entire look of the coach. You have any questions about it send them my way. Like I said I've done been through the entire Chassis because the previous owners appear have let it sit so it needed a lot of TLC.
