2012 Coachmen Sportscoach Cross Country (405FK) Dashboard Lights Help Needed :)

Hi Everyone!!!!

My husband and I were just at our (new to us) Coach ensuring it is ready for our impending snow storm. Does anyone know when this winter will end???!!!

We are "brand newbies!" When we purchased our RV last month it came with ZERO ( and I mean NO) manuals. We are fumbling through while thing to figure things out with the help of friends and the Internet. We actually feel quite blind being newbies so we figured when we got me we would turn to all of you! We are hoping that maybe one of you will be able to she'd some light on a situation we encountered.

While running our generator this afternoon a new light illuminated on our dashboard. We have NO idea what it is. We searched on line to no avail. I oak two photos and have attached them. The light in question is the yellow one on the left, as we know what the green generator light is and the red brake light is.

If any of you fellow RVers can help us we really appreciate it!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

Cheers,

Karen & Mike

Yes, i actually encountered the same thing today. It is a light telling you to regen the exhaust system.
You can do this by driving for about 20 mins on a highway. Or what they call a parked regeneration. You might have a switch on the dash somewhere thats says "regen" push and hold for about 4 secs. the engin rpm will increase to about 1100, this may run like this for abour 40 mins. make sure the exhaust is not near anything flammable as it gets extremely hot. If you do not have a switch on the dash, it is under the dash, near the steering wheel. it should be marked "regen". the freightliner or cummins websites may help you understand this better.

good luck

Sure thing, glad to help. BTW if the light is flashing it means DO IT NOW! If it is just solid it means do it soon.....also during the process this light may change to include a thermometer, all that means is that the exhaust if very very hot (like 1200 degrees), so make sure there is nothing near the exhaust.

I sound intelligent right!!!!! Well, i just ran to my book when i got the same light and i said uh-oh whats that all about. I was relieved too.

Yes we have a 2014 Cross country 404rb..... see my avatar for pic.

Nice meeting you and welcome to the site
