2015/2016 gmc 6.2l gas 420hp

Interested to hear from anyone who has one and their towing experiences. Thinking upgrading from 2013 gmc 1500 5.3l 315 hp we tow a forest river microlite 21fbrs weighing 4500+...does ok but would like more power..thanks...

Before losing money on your present truck, there are some options you might consider. One is the AFM=Active Fuel Management system, this causes 4 cylinders to be disabled at times, which naturally causes problems when towing. One solution is the Range AFM disable module.
Another option is to increase HP with a Bully Dog tuner or a Hypertech Max programmer which also disables the AFM feature in your ECM, but does not increase HP as much as the Bully Dog.
