Check Trailer Wiring

I have a CC29RE and a 2014 Silverado 4W.....Recently my dash had a message....."Check Trailer Wiring"....Checked plug and all seemed OK...Anyone had this situation??...J

You can buy a not expensive tester for the TV side which will tell you if there is a problem there if not, start following wiring in the trailer. I have in each case found it was a corroded seven prong plug which once cleaned fixed the problem. One of the things I made sure of with our trailer is that all of the lights/connection have a ground wire and nothing is grounded to the frame. If all else fails take it to an RV repair shop, they should have a box/tester which will emulate the TV and diagnose the problem. Good luck.
