A friend called and setup a tour in a couple of days. A week later he bought a rig.

We arranged a tour through our dealer RVOne through their Buffalo RV store. We told them when we would be in Elkhart and they arranged a tour through the Berkshire/Charleston factory.

How do you like your Berkshire? Problems? Dealer response to issues?

Hi Roll,

We've had really good luck with our Berkshire. There have been issues that have been minor that have been promptly resolved by either the dealer or the factory. All repairs have been done by the local dealer other than a recall which we had done at the factory due to a scheduling conflict with our travel dates and the dealers service schedule.

We had an Itasca 35j before the Berk. It was a good unit, but the Workhorse chassis had some major issues not the least of which were the brakes. The move from a 35 foot gasser to a 40 foot diesel pusher is a night and day move. If we were to stay with a non-tag axle rig I would definitely look at getting another Berkshire. If the Berks go to a tag axle down the road, I would look seriously at another one. Also, Buffalo RV has been top notch in every respect. Good product from a good dealer!

Ed
