I tend to agree with wildtoad. I did have an issue years back on my Ford F250 when it spewed transmission fluid out and smoke came bellowing out when it hit the hot exhaust. I pulled over and called closest Ford dealer and they sent a wrecker out and towed the truck & 5th wheel to their shop. I dropped the 5er, and they took the truck into the service bay. Fortunately the problem was the transmission had been overfilled during the fluid/filter change recently performed. They cleaned it up, checked for any leaks, tested it and gave it back to me. This was done under warranty. Not exactly "roadside assistance", but I called the closest dealer and they took care of it.
Hope you don't have to make that call.
