Thanks for the reply.
We are looking at is a 36' and got a chance to test drive it yesterday.
Had winds about 20-25mph and hardly felt the wind at all.
DW rode on the couch and was impressed at how it rode even in the wind and the quietness when on the road.
I'm very impressed at the handleing and quietness of the unit.
I feel that we re going to call the dealer and start the paperwork on it.
If it comes to fruitation, I'll be posting pics.

We recently purchased a new, Loaded 2013 Forest River Hyperlite Toy Hauler from a dealer in Mesa Arizona. Although we do like the the rig, we've had more than our share of pesky issues. Once I picked up the rig and started noticing problems, dealing with Forest River's customer service and warranty dept. has been difficult and they are slow to react.
I've had to spend considerable time correcting problems that should have been caught by the factory. I was surprised at the build quality (or lack thereof) initially but after checking out lots of other rigs and many other brands, I've come to realize that inferior build quality is pretty much standard across the board. Guess I was expecting better. I've had warranty work done on the generator and A/C systems within 4 months of new, everything else I've handled on my own and avoided the frustration. The good news is when you're forced to deal with issues yourself, you get to know the your rig intimately!
Best of luck to you!

Absolutely true , try and take something positive out of any disappointing experience , I like that attitude .
Our blinds and pendant lights are on their way from Cherokee via UPS and I'll be replacing them in the spring as it's well below zero here in central Canada .
Can't wait to get back in our trailer when warm weather is back .

I purchased a brand new R-Pod. It pulled terrible. This was my first time pulling anything so I just thought I was not a good rv puller. Come to find out I bought a R-Pod with a bent axle. I blew up my tow vehicle pulling it. I took a whole camping season to get forest river to admit fault and fix the darn thing. My biggest problem was with the RV dealer I bought from. So I own another Forest River RV but bought from another dealer. I wish someone would have warned me about the original dealer I bought the R-Pod from.
