Forest River Cardinal 5th Wheel

I'm posting for my Camping friends, who don't or won't post on forums.

They purchased new, a Cardinal 5th wheel and have had nothing but trouble.

Here is the story:

Several days after purchase, first camping trip, the bedroom rear flat screen went out. Called the dealer, no problem we will order you another. Two months later the TV arrived and it was replaced. This lasted for about six weeks and it also quit. Another one ordered and replaced. Just picked up the third TV from the dealer last week. His story is it's the TV manufacture and they can't stand the rough ride. Front TV is working and has worked fine.

Now the rear motorized jacks have quit. dealer said he had no parts and call the jack manufacture. It has a hand crank, but when you try to use it, you break the drift pin in the shaft. You have to crawl under and remove the motor to stabilize the rear. It's frozen solid.

All thought there is 110V to the TV and 12V power to the jacks, he believes that there is a common source for the problems.

Anybody experienced similar problems or have a theory.

Just Because, tell you friend to go over to the Cardinal Club do a goggle search. They may have a fix, I would call the Factory for some help too. I wasn't happy with the quality of my Cardinal. Just never got the repairs fixed, I blame my dealer too.
I was in the group but they were way to Cliquey. We met some good friend all left the club.
Just my $ .02

The dealer sounds like a bunch of parts changers and do not try to source a problem. If the TV is not suitable for an RV, the manufacturer needs to supply a suitable TV.

Contact the manufacturer directly.
