Thanks labloverRV,
We had a chance to see a 32QBT with a second bath while we were vacationing, and ended up not being very impressed unfortunately.
Maybe we’re spoiled with our Sunnybrook, but it seemed the fit-finish and workmanship were lacking. Some of the things we noticed:- The second bath seemed like an afterthought, the vanity didn’t have a base (wasted potential storage), the plumbing was stuck behind flimsy panels that nearly fell off when touched.
- The master wardrobe had staples popping out, missing staples where the sliding glass door anchors to the jamb. By the way we dislike the whole sliding glass door thing, I’ve seen other manufacturers with the same goof. I don’t see anyone having THAT MANY pieces of hanging clothing while on a camping trip. I’d have to install shelves and/or drawers just to make use of the space.
- There was no fan in the main cabin, instead there was a subwoofer in the ceiling, so you can sweat while watching your favorite movie. By the way I met a camper in our campground that said he dislikes the sound and will end up replacing the sound system.
- The fake stone near the entry door looked even more hideous in person than it did the photos.
- The bunk bed mattress were very thin.
- The holes cut out for the drawers in the kids room were carelessly done, looks like someone sneezed when they were routing.
- The underbelly had plastic corrugated board that had way too few screws, and the screws that it did have were over-tightened, causing the cover to buckle with big gaps.
- I don’t remember seeing any fantastic fans, all were cheap standard-issue, that only I could reach.
- The light-switch to the main cabin was behind a door in the side-hall, so when entering at night you have to first walk across to the door, open it up and feel for the switch.
- When sliding the master-bed closed, it hit the opposite wall and started pushing it out.
- The countertop extension was difficult and time consuming to attach, the leg fell apart as I was removing it. I can see the mount for that breaking off in the first year.
- I couldn’t get the Velcro strap to hold up the flip-up bunk, it seemed too short, what I could fasten made me worry about it dropping on someone’s head, I would just remove that strap.
- I’m new to slides, but the main cabin seemed to slide very sloppy and labored.
So we left the dealer with our heads hanging low and knowing we’d have to go back to the beginning and renew our search.
Good luck with yours, I understand there may be a wealth of helpful knowledge on the Wildcat forum that be useful!
-John
