Forester 2291S Onan generator battery?

Can anyone tell me if the Onan 4000W generator in my Forester 2291S has its own battery or is it wired to the house or truck battery?? The Onan manual is VERY vague about it.

Don't have its own battery, and could be connected to either the house or starting battery depending on your coach

Mine is wired to the house battery

Most are wired to run off of and charge the house batteries

Most likely starts from the house battery bank - never seen one with its own battery.
