Lexington 255 GTS onyx

We are looking to buy one of these units and don't understand 2 2 x 4 looking things cover the vinyl that seem to come with a coach and we don't know what they're for. The current owner doesn't understand them either.

We have a 283GTS. Those pieces fit at the sides when you convert the couch to a bed.

Thanks for your reply. I tried several different ways to attach them and none of them made sense.Click image for larger version

Sorry. I should have told you to pull up on each of the sofa arms to remove them then put the arms into the spot between the sofa and the outside wall. Then put your mystery pieces into the empty holes on both sides of the bed. Hope this helps.

Thank you, we bought this with absolutely no documentation or manuals so we're trying to figure this out on the FlyClick image for larger version

Nice! If you haven't seen them there are several videos on You Tube that you may find helpful. Manuals are not particularly useful. They tend to be pretty generic. Google will be your friend for most of the individual components ie fridge, convection microwave water heater etc. If we can help feel free to ask. Ours is shivering in the snow anxiously awaiting spring lol

This is my sixth motorhome so I'm getting pretty good at the generic stuff. The stuff that is unique to Forest River is still a mystery to me and that's what I'm trying to work out. Thanks for your help.

So far, I am very impressed with some of the upscale touches in the Lexington.
