Locate fuse box

The power to my tow vehicle was on when I was hooking up on Friday, flashers were working on the car, then nothing, Brake Buddy doesn't work, tail lights and brake lights don't work. Biggest issue: I can't find the fuse box where the tail light fuses are located. I assume there is a fuse in there that controls what goes on in the pigtail to the car. The coach is a Coachmen Sports Coach Elite made in 2007. The installed fuse boxes I found do not follow the stated manual locations, either. 2 are located on the driver side outside compartment and have nothing to do with the lights at the back of the coach.

I appreciate any help you can offer.

You've probably already checked this......

I've had this issue several times pulling a small trailer with a jeep. Seems to always be the connector. Got a tiny steel brush and some electrical conductive paste (in a tube) to clean and then coat the contacts. Haven't had much trouble since.

Did you find the answer? I have the same problem with a 2007 Gulf Stream.

You said "Brake Buddy Does Not Work"

Brake buddy is self contained in the towed vehcle, it runs off a different fuse than the brakes and brake lights, You have more serious issues.

My 2007 Crosscountry has a second fuse box located beside the main fuse box located under the bed. My tail light fuse is in this box.

Similar Problem

I have a 2011 Coachmen Encounter. Due to some poor wiring on my tow dolly, the right and left/brake connections shorted out on the 7-pin connector. I still have lights, but no turn signals or brake lights on the dolly. The turn signals/brake lights work fine on the coach itself. This makes me think that there is another fuse box or in-line fuse that I can not find (one fuse box is very conveniently located behind the brake pedal on the front panel of the coach). I do not see any blown fuses on the box that I found. Any one have any suggestions? Thanks.
