Would like to hear from other Coachmen owners about troubles with the electrical system including lights of any type.

This is emerging as the "on-going issue" in my 2011 MH from Coachmen. Light bulbs are failing here and there. Not the bulbs but the sockets and wiring. So far nothing has been really expensive, just annoying.

Anyone else?

I have not had any electrical problems on my Concord, knock on wood, other than the converter went out the day after I got it home. Replaced the main board and so far so good.

What are you having to do to correct your problem?.

Dealer is making repairs as problems are found. Replace light bulbs, repair or replace light sockets, rewire appliances and electrical components.

Examples: When the furnace is turned on the air conditioner comes on with the furnace, (has been fixed). When you push the button for the left sun visor the right sun visor comes down, (fixed). When you pull up on the electrical driver’s seat the seat goes down, (fixed). These are not huge problems but I keep discovering more.

Hopefully at some point I have found them all and they have been fixed. So far, nothing fixed has caused further problems.

We have a 2010 Mirada. We have not had any electrical issues other than an air conditioner breaker tripping once - one of the two air cond. breakers at the generator.

With respect to the adequacy of the air conditioners, we drove from Bakersfield to Las Vegas, then from Las Vegas to San Diego area and up California's central valley the week of the Fourth of July and had no problems with adequate cooling. Temperatures were over 110 degrees on two days.

I have a 2011 Coachmen Concord 300TS with the same air conditioner. It will NOT keep the coach cool in high temps. I have found however with a couple of fans, it is bearable but not cool.

Can you tell me if you think $59,000 for a 2010 mirada is a good price? That is what they are asking.

$59,000 may or may not be a good price. On face, it sounds really good.

1. How many miles?
2. What year is the F53 chassis? If it's a 2008, you will want to change fluids right away unless there are good service records.
3. When were the tires manufactured? Tires die based on age, not necessarily use. They may be 4 years old.
4. If the floor plan is not exactly what you want, the price doesn't really matter.
5. What's missing that you really wanted and how important are those items?

We're delighted with the 34BH model and the Ford drive train. I've done a few drives just short of 500 miles in a day. The Mirada has been wonderful to drive. DW doesn't drive the coach so easy running is very important to me.

We love ours and your price sounds great.
