Hi all -
I'm new to this forum. We have a 2008 Salem Edge, bought brand new and we love it. It's a small rig, only 23' 6" bumper to ball, but it has served us well so far. Last summer we towed it from Washington to Yellowstone and back. We go camping sometimes as much as 3 weekends a month and love every minute. It's light and easy to tow. The only real complaint I have is that the front storage compartment only has one door on the street side. This makes it really inconvenient to store stuff up there because if it slides to the curb side, you have to crawl in the storage compartment to retrieve it; and this is the only external storage compartment on the trailer. Other than that, it has been a great little trailer for the wife and I.

Welcome Datafacs to irv2.

Although this pic doesn't show side of compartment door you have done well and are enjoying the RV lifestyle.
One thing to consider is placing a slide floor in compartment by purchasing one or making one yourself. Plenty of links on site to help you and many Quick Tips & Mods by people to make your RVing experience more pleasurable.
Enjoy the forums, many safe and happy miles for you.

Datafacs, glad to have you here on iRV2. We had a 21' Coachman and still think about al of the fun times we had with the rig. After having a 36.5', we decided it was too big and we are back to a 28', 30 year old trailer and have a grand time with it. The main thing is to have fn and enjoy life....the size of the trailer is of no real importance unlessyou plan to live it int full time.
