Haven't been to any in over 20 years. Guess that is why many have toads, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles.

VA Beach - Holiday Trav-L-Park
Holiday Travel - Virginia Beach
There is a bus stop in the campground. The bus takes you to the beach and runs all up and down the main drag that runs parallel to the beach.
We had a TOAD but left it at the CG and took the bus. Finding a parking spot for the the TOAD along the beach is impossible, and traffic is a nightmare.
A cool thing about the bus, you can ride it around and kind of sight see without worrying about the traffic or parking.

Hi cherv,
The KOA in San Antonio, Texas. The city bus stops at the CG main entrance.

That might be too specific to find information for the nation. Why don't you look at the area you want to visit and inquire with the chamber of commerce. i.e. Pigeon Forge, Tennessee has the bus/trolley system that runs by most of the area RV parks

RV Parks/CG with public transportation
The Salt Lake City KOA, on West North Temple not quite as far west as the airport, is served directly by both bus and surface rail (streetcar) lines of the UTA, and thus the rest of Salt Lake metro and surrounding counties.

And if you're ever there, just a 1/4 mile in toward town on W North Temple is The Red Iguana, absolutely the best Mexican restaurant you'll find-- particularly if you like mole. Pre-Hispanic Mexican.... honestly, that's how they describe themselves!

Lake George RV Park in Lake George, NY. The public bus/trolley stops there during the summer. http://www.lakegeorgervpark.com/

Las Vegas,,, Oasis RV park is owned by, I believe Harrara's (They own a bunch of Casinos) and has shuttle service to all the company properties, From some of them you can connect to LV bus services.
Thousand Trails has a bus stop next to the driveway.. And there may be another RV park 2 doors south of TT,, I suspect Sam's Town (KOA) and the other Casion (Arizonia Charlie's?) on Bolder also have bus stops.
I have not been to any other park in a city with public tranport though some (Such as were I am now) are close enough for Dial-a-Ride.

Nashville , TN KOA. There is a Downtown Shuttle that stops at all the campgrounds and hotels along Music Valley Drive. That way, you can have a libation at a honky tonk and not have to worry about driving. Just have to call ahead so they know you need a ride.
