Swivel chairs
Does anyone know whether or not it would be possible to add the swivel base to the existing driver, cp chairs, or would you have to change chair and base as one unit? 08 concorde. Thanks for any advice or input.

I think you would need some product information for anyone to answer that question. Who is the manufacturer of the seats themselves?
I have seen hardware kits for the captains chairs but it seems to me that they might be specific to the manufacturer of the chair, the configuration of the chair base, and whether the base of the existing chair is fixed or modular. What I mean by fixed or modular is that perhaps the height of your existing chair is dictated by the frame being welded in a fixed position or whether it is two pieces that would allow extra hardware for swiveling to be installed.
I hope that made sense.

I have seen swivel bases that fit under your seat base, but raise the seat 1-2 inches. That might work for you, as it would raise you up closer to the level of the rest of your MH floor seating. Check with a C class manufacturer web site, they may sell them as aftermarket items. That is one of the down sides to a class C, drivers area is sort of lost space once you are stopped. Nice for driving though, as it's much the same as driving a normal van.
You could try this--- Ford Van Seat Bases, driver, passenger seat bases

Thanks guys for the response. Don't think I could come up any higher with them, but I'll look at the fixed vs module aspect. Thanks Charlie, and unplanned

Do a search on line, I think you may find what you are looking for.
Years ago I purchased captains chairs with bases from a custom van shop and installed in a mini motorhome.
