Thoughts on the Mini Lite 2509S

We are looking into buying the Mini Lite with the bunks. We love the layout but know nothing about this travel trailer or travel trailers in general. Do you have any recommendations or advice? Do we need to purchase add ons? What are your suggestions for towing requirements? Any other thoughts would be a huge help. Thanks!

You seem to striking out here. I'd suggest that if you're a facebook user, check out the Rockwood Mini Lite owners page. I'm sure you'll get instant responses there.

EDIT: Turns out it's called the Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite Fan Club.

In general Mini Lite, Micro Lite, etc are cheaply built trailers and you get what you pay for. Just be careful at delivery and make sure the dealer demonstrates every system on the RV is working properly and the trailer is 100% to your satisfaction. If the trailer is mot 100%, do not accept delivery and do not take the RV from the dealer. Tell them to fix it and you will return for another inspection prior to delivery.

If you take the RV with the promise to fix any issue when you come back for warranty work, be prepared for the RV to set on the lot for possible months awaiting authorization for the repair.
