Unknown Items

New 2019 Sunseeker 2860. Found two poles both approximately 15 inches long, 1 inch dia, with rubber caps on end. They have plastic cover over and very light aluminum pipe. Not sure what they are for?
Can anyone identify their use?

We have a Forester 3171DS and I have the same poles. Our dealer said they were side locks, and hardly anybody uses them...

They are for locking the slides in. In the event you lose slide control the bars go between the slide and the outside wall to prevent the slide deploying as you drive to the dealer!!

If you do, use something to mark these in some way. If you start the slide before removing them, it can be very expensive. I have heard some really horror stories about this. Just a suggestion.
