I own a '10 Cedar Creek Silverback that has remote waste valves that are cable operated. The threaded plastic housing that holds the cable in the bracket broke. My question is can just the cable be replaced, or does the whole valve assembly need to be replaced? Thanks.

The cable is replceable seperately. I just replaced mine on my Brookestone. The come in 96 inch and shorter in two foot increments. Here is a link for a 72 inch. Valterra Waste Valve Replacement Cable, 72 - $25.99

If you need a different size just do a Google search.
