Water filter access on Lexington 283

Hello all,
The previous owner has told me that the coach has a water filter and he was able to change it through a small access panel next to the fuse panel down on the floor. This area is under the bed platform. So far I have been unsuccessful in getting my hand around it.
I have 2 questions: 1) can the entire bed platform be removed? and 2) is there 1 or 2 filters?
I winterized with antifreeze and it got into the filter so it is a must for me to change it. Next year I will air blow out the lines instead of using antifreeze.
I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thank you!

Waterfilter

I am not sure if yours is anything like mine, but for mine on my Flagstaff 30 WRLTSA it has the filter under the sink in the bathroom. That would be ideal except that it is hidden behind a panel that I have to remove just to get to it. I have yet to figure out how I am expected to service this filter without disassembling my trailer a bit to get to it. As far as the bed goes, my frame is removable but wow that is a ton of work if yours is like mine to have to pull out a bunch of screws in order to remove a filter. I would think a call to forrest river would be in order and ask them for recommendations.

water filter on Lexington 283

Hi I have a new 2013 283gts.Lift up the bed platform and there is a plywood cover just above the filter, remove the four screws and the panel
and the filter is just below. On mine I just put a towel under filter and removed both water lines and screws holding filter assy in place and I
drained and installed filter on my work bench. It is very tight with wiring in the way trying to remove it from the access panel. I hope this helps.

water filter access on Lexington

Hello and thank you for providing really good instructions. I enjoy investigating how things were assembled on our mh. And when I reach and end, I reach out to others on the Forum.
Your instructions were good and I got to the water filter. Many thanks.
