When we got pour new-to-us rig, all the tanks showed empty. The previous owner said he had blown all the water out using low-pressure compressed air.
Our previous RV had a gravity fill for the potable tank, but this one uses a pressure fill.
We have a particularly good quality of city water at home, and with our previous rig, we always used to leave home with a full tank. We were sure that campground "city water" would only flow thorugh the rig's plumbing system when connected and did not have any connection with the potable storage tank.
When we wanted drinking water (for us or the dogs) or for inclusion in whatever we were cooking, we'd close off the campground supply at the pedestal, purge the lines and then draw from the water we shipped from home, using the DC pump.
Does the Georgetown system keep the potable storage tank isolated from the campground pressure supply? It sounded like the potable tank was re-filling from the campground water a couple of times.
