If you guys are coming to the 2016 iRV2 International Rally, 5 Star is attending and they will install tunes while you are with us in Elkhart.

Added Bonus with my Ford V-10 Tune...
Bought the Tune last month and have put on about 500 miles and so far very impressed.
Found an added bonus today. Having trouble with my Equinox (check engine light) so I called 5 Stars to see if my X4 unit would work to read/clear the codes. They didn't think so, but said it would not hurt anything to try. So, bottom line is the X4 for my Ford also read and cleared the Chevy error codes. No need to buy another reader. Now to fix what the code is telling me is wrong...

No trick, just attach the X4 to the data port under the dash and go to the submenu for reading and clearing codes...

Bob57, on the factory tune your downshifts and when the vehicle tachs out is "normal." It is how Ford intends the vehicle to operate. It is by no means the only way in which to operate and can be corrected via our tune. Any other questions about the tune let us know.

I recently received a recall notice for my E450. I'm guessing here, but I reprogrammed back to stock before taking it to the dealer for the program update. After done I'll put the 5Star back in. Where I live they don't do emission checks.

Chris,
I recently had the Ford recall 15E05 done on my 2014 E450. I had returned the tune to factory before I took it in to the Ford dealer. After I got it home I reinstalled the 5Star tune. When it was completed I noticed the fuel gauge was above the full mark. When I turn the ignition off it only drops to 1/4 tank. The fuel level is actually 3/4 full. Any ideas?
Update:
After setting for an hour, the gauge low level dropped back to 0 with the ignition off and reads 3/4 tank with ignition on. Everything seems to be back to normal.

Chris,
Been following this thread for a while. We just finished a 4k-mile trip from Texas up through Kansas, to New York state then down to North Carolina and home. Our 2011 Winnebago Access Premier, E-450 based, 6.8 liter V-10 was flawless. Considering that we were owing a 22' trailer with our Miata on it, 7.13 mpg wasn't all that bad. Some issues in the mountains but that's to be expected.
Having said all that, I'm ready to get the tuner and tow tune.
Please let me know at your convenience.
Thanks, Bob

Greetings Gordon,
Often times the fuel gauge will reset after the vehicle sites for 1-2 hours. If this does not remedy it, the negative battery terminal can be removed for 4-5 minutes. This will reset the vehicle (while keeping the tune on the vehicle) and allow the fuel gauge to reset.
