Do you offer this for the 8.1L ?
How does this compare to the UltraPower tune?

TexasTom,
We do offer tuning as well for the 8.1L applications and have seen great success with this platform just as we've had with the 6.8L. When comparing both offerings, we feel both companies tuning philosophies shine through. Our tuning philosophy is to offer you the best driving experience possible whilst giving you the extra power/torque needed to go through any terrain you elect to encounter. In addition to our tuning philosophy we aim to offer you the highest quality product at the most aggressive price structure that we can. Pricing is typically $479.95 but is available via group pricing at $429.95.
Some current negatives you will see with your 8.1L will be open loop delays (not getting added fueling/cooling as early as needed), torque management restrictions, converter lockup delays and 5th gear not coming in until 57 mph.
Highlighting some of our corrections will be open loop delay set to 2 seconds (think 4 barrel carburetor mode), a new torque map that will offer you more torque when you ask for it, quicker converter lockups, economy increases and 5th gear being engaged by 55 mph. Any other questions that you have about our tune let us know.

For those that order, you will not be disappointed. I've been running my 5 Star for 18 months now.

OBDII port location
I am interested in the 5 Star tune however for the life of me, I can't find the OBDII port. I have an '03 Winnebago Adventurer with an F-53 Chassis V-10. I know its normally under the steering column. I even removed trim pieces around the column. Even looked in the fuse box in the outside front engine access. Any ideas.

So I buy the tune for a stock vehicle. Then I decide to add aftermarket air cleaner or other items. Will i need a complete re-tune or will you send just what I need?

Jeff,
If you add an aftermarket cold air intake, you would want the tune updated. Anytime we ship a cold air intake from our location we send you a new tune for free. The tune itself can be sent via email. No need to send the device back and forth.

Kawa911,
The group buy is still currently on. I have updated the page for the device to make it even more user friendly. It would make a great deal of improvment to your 2002 Damon. Any questions on the unit or tune let me know.
