Insane938, since the purchase is within 30 days and you're a forum member you can give Mary (x107) a call and she will be able to correct the price for you to the group buy price. Not sure on either price point referenced, $518 would be the regular price of the unit and FedEx ground shipping factored in. The unit for the forum is $429.95 shipped. Older units in the past have been cheaper such as the X3.

Thanks Chris. I will contact her right away. Sorry for the mis-writing, bad typing. I paid $518 for my 5 star tune. I looked at the price you were quoting back in 2015. Again, sorry for the mix-up, and thank you for the response.

You're welcome! No worries on the mistype. Just wanted to make sure everyone is quoting the correct pricing.

Well, she gave me back the $70 for the pricing, but not the $20 for the shipping. LOL. I'm happy to get the $70 back. When you're on SS, every penny counts. Thanks Again

Charley

Just received my X4 unit, and the programming went very smoothly. Can't wait to take the F53 out for a spin before our big trip.

Thank you harleyreb! We appreciate the feedback on the installation. Have you had a chance to take it for a spin yet?

Dramatic improvement going over the overpasses. Lot smoother shifting. I do believe I'm going to enjoy this!

Thanks

Has anyone seen any mileage improvements with the tune on? Trying to justify the $4xx over other upgrades. A mileage increase would at least pay itself off eventually..

I've seen maybe 0.5 mpg but can't attribute it to this. However, I don't care. The pleasure of the improved driving experience is worth the cost. No further justification necessary in my opinion.

Thumbs up

Harleyreb

I have to second your comment. I see you have a 2015 rig, while mine is a 1999. Just had to find and pull the OBDII port into a position I could get at it. As far as the programming, smoother and faster than I was expecting frankly. Haven't tried it out yet, as it has been really stormy here. I'm sure I will be happy with it from all the positive comments everywhere on the web.
