I have a question... anyone can answer it..

Did I read things correctly... I can leave the "device" connected to the OBDII port and I will see "real-time" data.. including fuel mileage ??

Got mine today. Thanks for the fast service. Now I have to sit around and just look at it this weekend as the coach is in the shop getting a hydrolic leak fixed till Monday. Not good for those of us that crave instant gradification.

I installed the 5-star tune and took a drive over the hills to the ocean. Great performance!

I will liken the change in the temperament of my rig from unpredictable and unruly shifting and revving, to quiet performance. Everything is calmer and runs more smoothly!

I wonder if the motor and tranny will last longer - it seems like they are working a lot less harder now. Any data on that?

Cool

Got mine yesterday and installed this morning. VERY easy to install, the hard part for me was finding the OBD port. It's insane where mine is located next to the steering column and really not easy to get to. I bought a cable extension so I can re locate it. Will do test drive sometime this week. The real test will be in a few weeks when we head to Colorado.

Yup! Absolutely agree! I suppose if I were a lot younger I could somehow twist my body into unatural positions without winding up in traction! Other than that, installation was a snap! Will put it through it's paces in a couple of weeks on our trip to Virginia and will post results

Was your post in the PMS box attached to the steering column? I can't see the OBDI port anywhere near the PMS box attached to our steering column.
My next question is can you get the extension at any auto parts store?

We have a 2002 Damon Intruder on the Ford F53 chassis with the V10.
Thanks,
Toni and Sally

I might also ask you the same questions that I asked Bob. So far I have removed the drivers seat to get to the PMS box and I'm being blocked accessing the bolts holding it to the steering column by the cable harness going into the firewall. Arggh

I was just reading another post about problems with 5 star tune and cruise control. You may want to read up on it.

Don't know what a PMS box is but I removed a 2 piece plastic cowling where the steering column comes out of the dash and that exposes a small area that is behind the dash panel. As soon as I had that off boom there it was about 6 inches down the column on the right side.

Took it out for a test drive this morning and noticed right away an increase in power. Still down shifted from 5th to 3rd up hills but seemed to settle down after several miles. Is this something the computer has to learn or do I need the program tweeked??
