It's a good question if you've never seen them before

Just to be certain, SnapPads are jack pads you install onto your landing feet and leave there permanently. Made from recycled rubber at our plant in Mishawaka, IN. They weigh between 3.1 - 9.0 lbs depending on the version you need. Once installed they will add about an inch of thickness to your landing feet.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any other questions

Appreciate the veterans and Black Friday discounts. The set for my fifth wheel show a Monday delivery.

Question on installation. Looks like winter is pretty much here in my area, and cold temps, snow and ice may be the norm up until we depart for warmer climates after the Christmas holidays. Is installing the snap pads in freezing temps advised assuming I keep the warm up until I go to put them on or should I wait until I get to warmer climates.

Hi sir,

I installed mine yesterday when the temps were in the 20's here in the south and it went very smoothly. The pads were sitting on the porch for a while after delivery and were at the outdoor ambient temperature when installed.

All that said, I'm sure the warmer (and more pliable) the pads are when installed, the greater the likelihood the jack foot will "snap" easily and readily into the pad. Having the pads in the house for a while would help. But also, if you are not using the rig until warmer weather anyhow then waiting is also an option. I wanted to get mine installed because wintertime camping is common for us.

Hope this helps. The vendor may add their reply as well but thought I'd let you know my experience since I just installed mine yesterday.

Thanks landcruisers. I was wondering if the cold would make them too stiff or brittle to lock on. Sounds like it won’t. I’ll probably put them on when we get them, although the trailer is just parked on an rv pad beside the house winterized until we head south early Jan.

Great question! We do advise installing them in warmer weather, however they are very sturdy and installing them in colder temps is still possible. As landcruisers mentioned, if you keep them in your house and bring them up to room temperature prior to installation it will make it even easier.

We had them shake tested at -40 so once they are installed you need not worry about them in cold weather

Hope that helps. Thanks for the added comments @landcruisers.
