The UltraTrac Rear Trac Bar improves steering by locking the rear axle to the frame. Eliminating "Tail-Wagging the Dog." Sometimes more pronounced with excessive overhang or when towing a car. "Tail-Wagging the Dog" occurs when the rear end of the coach tends to sway or slip to one side or the other. Making sudden lane changes or windy conditions often produce this problem.

The UltraTrac Front Trac Bar will help correct "rut tracking." This happens when the coach follows the grooves worn in the road or where ridges are created when an asphalt surface meets a concrete road surface. The coach will want to continue in the direction of the ridge or groove and it is difficult to correct or change the path of the coach. The UltraTrac Front Trac Bar "locks" the front axle to the frame to give you a more positive and precise control over the steering.

If you only do one suspension modification...
the rear trac bar is the one to be sure you do.

I'd also suggest that you do it FIRST and before any other work...
even the repair of worn parts <-- slight hyperbole

legaleagle, No sir, just bolt on the track bar and you're good to go.

There's no need to ask .... "Where's the beef!"

Driver,
Do you have one on your coach? If so, how does it feel on your coach?

Raca-roni, The very 1st suspension upgrade that I accomplished on my 38 foot coach was to install a rear track bar. I found Mike Bronzini (Brazel's RV) was a big help by explaining to me the dynamics of a leaf spring suspension and how tying in the rear axle housing to the chassis improves the stability of the motorhome while traveling.

On my coach the rear track bar gets: √√√√√
