Great Product: BatteryMINDer 1500

The BatteryMINDer 1500 is an awesome battery maintainer, maintenance-free battery charger for recovering 12V flooded, sealed, starter, deep-cycle and marine batteries.
  • Works with all AGM batteries except the Odyssey brand as they use higher voltage.
  • Can maintain up to 4 batteries at once with the use of the 210AY Y-Connector.
  • Protects against spark, short circuit and polarity.
  • Plugs into wall outlet.
  • Includes a temperature sensor that ensures batteries are not overcharged or undercharged.

Specs include:
  • Output Rating: 12V / 1.5A.
  • Input Rating: 100-240V / 0.4A.
  • Minimum Battery Voltage: 3V.

This unit is barely sufficient to maintain one large battery and it is grossly insufficient to maintain two deep cycle GC2 6 volt batteries tied in series. 1.5 amps @ 12 volts is only 18 watts. The float charge needs to be at least 13.2 - 13.6 volts at 4 amps (53 watts) and this unit is only rated to produce 12 volts and 18 watts (1.5 amps). It is a perfect unit for a motorcycle battery but don't count on it keeping multiple start or deep cycle house batteries topped off in an RV over a cold winter.
