Great Product: Bauer Electric RV Keyless Door Lock

Replace your old RV entry door lock with a new Bauer Electric Keyless Lock. No more having to use a key to get in, just put in code and it unlocks.
  • The first self-contained electronic RV latch with AlSentis HSS Touch Technology
  • An integral touchpad to the latch which controls the deadbolt
  • It is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included), for optimal performance, it is best to use Energizer or Energizer Lithium batteries
  • Programmable with a 4 digit PIN number
  • Zinc diecast plunger
  • The large buttons are easy to see and use
  • Proximity sensing which illuminates the buttons

Verify your correct fitment using the dimensional diagrams on our site. Need help, call us at 866-332-7881 or email at sales@rvupgrades.com.

The NE model is mostly used on travel trailers and 5th wheel trailers, click here for more info --> Bauer NE Lock.

The EM model is mostly used on 2-Pin Motorized RV entry doors, click here for more info --> Bauer EM Lock.

Great product and I enjoyed mine until it stopped working. I needed a new battery holder and plug but Bauer wouldn't answer my inquiry. It did last for about three years until it quit though.

Our's stopped working about a year and a half after installing. It randomly works and then doesn't. So, you STILL have to carry your key or you'll get locked out. And, yes, we put in new batteries and made sure there were no blockages.

Just like ours! We also got in the habit of leaving a window unlocked just in case

This is an ad isn't it. Thinly disguised as a post and for an item that many consider unreliable.

I wanted to give a quick update on our Bauer EM AISentis keyless lock system.

As I posted above, ours stopped working about 3 months after the warranty ran out. I have to say that the Bauer company has, hands down, the best customer support that I've ever experienced in the RV industry. They tried everything they could to help me troubleshoot our lock and then when we couldn't figure it out, they shipped us a new lock at their expense.

Wow! They have a lifetime customer with us.

Isn't that what the Vendor Spotlight (Deals, Announcements & More) forum is for? Or am I missing something here?

Yes it is an ad. Under their user name it says "Official IRV2.som Sponsor". I realize we need sponsors to keep the site free but this seems a little slimy to me.
