Magnusson-Moss act requires that the manufacturer PROVE that the add'n/modification caused the problem. HOWEVER, they can make it VERY tough on the owner and you'll have to take it to court which usually costs more than just paying to fix it yourself. Dodge is a great one for denying warranty coverage for modifications. Eric's RV in Sequim WA was collecting evidence to take this to court a few years ago but I haven't heard anything about it for several years now.

Just a heads up for anyone also getting the improved "Y" pipe. It may have been the only one like it, but my `04, with a late `03 build date, had the `99-`00 "Y" pipe??? There is no way to make the wrong one fit out of the box.

I don't know what you mean by 'improved "Y" pipe', I have a '99 F-53. Mine has the Banks exhaust and headers, do have and improved Y pipe?

I shot Mike an email and after answering several questions about my MH , I was directed to his web site and told to go to the online store to order it. I emailed him and told him what I thought of that tactic. This was supposed to be a " group buy ". He then told me that he needs 5 orders. Buyer beware that this is not a group buy( yet )

A group buy is when a group of people get together and all buy at once on one order. I had nothing but stellar service from Mike at 5 Star.

Exactly. I responded to a " group buy " but was directed to an online " non group buy". I was not told to hold on till others sign up to get. " group buy pricing"

I see your point, but you need to get Tom, Dick, Harry, Larry and yourself to order all at the same time as a group. Not you one day, Tom the next and so on. If Mike had posted a discount to IRV2 forum members, you and anybody else could order whenever.

Thanks for trying, however , I think you missed my point. I know what a group buy is and what's necessary to accomplish it.
