This reads like an advertisement?

Why haven't the MFG's figured out a way to have the outside unit married to the inside unit so it wouldn't be so easy to resell on e-Bay

Well, that's because it is an advertisement. This is the Vendor Spotlight section of the forum where our supporting vendors offer deals to the members of the forum.

There are cable locks available that some people use to secure a portable satellite antenna. We have never used one, and have not worried about our antenna.
