Could you give an idea as to how long this will be offered? We are looking at purchasing a new 5er in the next week or so and would love to switch out the blinds. But...can't afford the switch immediately; maybe in a month or two.

Peggy, I just got home from having you install a full coach replacement of the duo's and read your post this morning. I have my old shades with me by the way. Any chance I can take advantage of this offer?

Thanks for asking about the ending date. I don't have an answer for you, I would just say contact us as soon as you can.

The promotion started October 6, so if you were here before that, the Trade-in Allowance wouldn't apply. Thanks for asking.

I had the plastic guts break on a shade and was told there are no replacement parts available. I was offered 30% off as a "goodwill" gesture and the cost would still be over $300. Not a very good deal for me.

Very interested in this offer, but getting a little confused on how exactly to measure the shades for ordering. We are installing INSIDE our existing valence, so do we just put in the total width of our valence, or the width of our valence minus 0.75” (for GOLD series). I'm guessing the latter based on the instructions I'm seeing, but want to be sure before placing the order.

Just did this afternoon thanks. The right answer is to measure the entire inside width and use that. You can take off 1/4 inch on each side for play if you want, but the width you give will be the exact size of the roller.

Installed all 13 shades ourselves before we left the MCD factory. Thanks again, Peggy, for your help in getting them made and ready for us to pick-up and install on our way to the Rio Grande Valley for the winter. Here's a picture of the installed shades with the view through the solar day shades. And as you can see, the view from inside to outside is phenominal and the shade is great at blocking the heat from the sun.

(NOTE: I'm in the process of covering the valances with the beige linen fabric; hence, the two different window dressings).
