The Scangauge D is going through some new product bug fixes. The current version is 9.07. They are right on top of things and are replacing earlier versions. If you get one that is a earlier version call them and they will send you the current version along with a prepaid return label. Great company to deal with. I have a version 9.03 that seems to work fine but they are still replacing it.

It is somewhat surprising that they do not have some way for a user to update the software through a download versus sending the unit back and waiting for them to do the update. The units we are selling are fresh from the factory as of last week so I am assuming they are the most up to date. I put one in my conversion on Friday and used it over the weekend and glad I did! Right from the start I had a check engine light, got the code from the Scangauge, checked on line for the definition and found it to be a non responding EGR valve. Stopped at a rest area shut the truck down, fired it back up 10 minutes later and the code cleared. Got to the campground and check the connections, pulled off the cover and made sure the valve was moving properly and we had no problems on the way home.

It just nice to know what the issue is, how severe and what action needs to be taken. It was also great to find out I am getting almost 9 mpg at 68 mph at 34,000 lbs on PA I-80 which isn't flat.

That is NOT what they are doing. When contacted they will send you a updated version along with a prepaid return shipping label for the one you presently have. You will not be without one.

If you are going to get a updated one ask them to throw in a strip of velcro. Its hard to get it off of the old one.

With it on and the engine running push "more" twice then push the upper left button twice. Mine says Version 9.07.

Can anyone tell me if the "D" will report fuel pressures on my 2000 5.9L
Thought I would ask owners before calling Linear Logic.

I think I saw where it would report boost and those are the two most important to me.
