Source Engineering Testimonial - 2011 Vesta

Source Engineering

Jim Walls at Source Engineering forwarded this to me and has asked me to make it available to the members of iRV2. He wrote:

"Is there a way you can post this. We take a lot of pride in what we release as far as products. We often see where customers want us to hurry up and send out product however we wont do that unless its ready to ship."

Testimonial from: Gregg Rand

Hi Scott,
Thank you for all of your advice to help get my Source Engineering, Ride Enhancement Kit (REK) installed in my 2011 Monaco Vesta.... the tech that installed my kit mentioned that you and Jim were quite helpful to him as well.

While I was researching REKs; I called and asked Jim how much he thought I would gain from using the SE kit (a totally subjective question, to be sure) and he replied that it would improve the quality of my ride by 52%. I have no idea where he really came up with that number, but I thought that it must be the result of some legitimate engineering comparisons made between OEM and the SE kit, but a 52% improvement was definitely acceptable enough for me to purchase it.

After installing the kit, a can tell you with 100% certainty that Jim's number was wrong ..... I found that the SE kit actually enhanced my Vesta's ride by at least 152%. The coach's ride is now fantastic, and not only have the quality of roads in Los Angeles become tolerable in my RV, but the coach no longer feels as if it is being shaken to death while driving it -- the dishes don't even rattle like they used to. EVERYTHING has quieted down in transit, and I am so grateful that I found Source Engineering!

Ditto on the service and expertise from Jim and his company. I changed my engine fan out and installed their sway bars. Both items changed the performance and handling by a huge amount. The fan alone dropped the engine noise 5 db at idle. The sway bars cause my wife some white knuckle moments now because I drive it like a go cart.
