Received the TST system today, by UPS. There have been a lot of improvements since the first one I bought. I like the monitor that is battery operated and rechargeable with the small mounting pad. I also like the easy to program sensors .
I decided to go with a six internal sensors and four transferable sensors for the toad or trailer. We go Monday to have the tires valves replaced with the sensors.
I decided to go and play with my new toy. Since the sensors are internal I decided to check them out to make sure everything was OK before hand.
I ran into this problem, and maybe not a problem, but in programming the sensors, I seemed to lose a tire. First it was the outside tire, so I coded it again. System took the code fine so I moved on to the next. Went through the process and did each tire, saved with the set button as requested. All the tires are now supposed to be showing, guess what another tire goes missing.
Now bear in mind that these are internal sensors and they are sitting on my dash. Maybe once I get them installed and they have air pressure they will show on the monitor . Or Dan will chime in .

I noticed ours takes some time before all tires show on the monitor when we are towing. Larry

Make sure they are not close to each other when programming. Make sure 5 of them are out of the way when programming one. I reprogrammed quit a bit and have not had this problem with externals. Also when you do it again Initialize by holding the set for 3 seconds per manual. Everything goes to F's. If the monitor picks up one of sensors you already programmed it will probably kick one out since I am sure the software won't let you program the same senors at two positions. Maybe this what happened to you.
When you save press and hold set but not too long. My best guess

I think poppys problem is a tire disappears from the display.
Sensors transmit routinely info every 5 minutes so it will take some time for the display registers to fill. (except during a leak or temp alarm which is immediate)
I think I got this right.

I turn on my monitor about a half hour before I drive as part of my pre departure checklist. They're always ready when I leave.

You can leave the monitor "On" and it will go to sleep after so many minutes. Move it and it wakes up. Sacred me the first time I left it On, sitting on the counter. Thought the battery died.

That is correct, the tire programmed, disappeared from the monitor.
I also noted that each time I programmed the same sensor (marked with a felt tip pen, did this three time trying to find the missing tire), that each time I got a different code.
Example back left. Programmed ABC 123. lost tire on the monitor so I started over. Next program, same sensor, WHT 451. I guess that it rotates the codes.
I'm hoping once they get mounted and have air pressure it will straighten out. For now I'm not worried.

When I installed my 507, they were mounted and programmed the first time. When I did the duals, I made sure to have the monitor right next to the sensor.

Just because,
I would wait til Dan answers before mounting. (or call Abby) I don't know if the codes roll or not. Never checked that. I think something is wrong with the sensor since none of the others act this way. But I am wrong more than half the time and it gets worse every year. Good luck

It's not one sensor in question. One time it's the passenger outside dual, next time drive inside dual.

Do you have another vehicle, or spare tire with air, that you could install them on, one at a time, and mark them for what tire on your MH you will be using them on?

No these are internal sensors. I'll just wait and try it again when I get them mounted on Monday. I believe everything will be OK.
