Even though the tires won't display pressure or temp on the display, they will alarm if I unscrew the sensor, as in a fast leak. And, they do occassionally display pressure/temp so they aren't completely inop. I'm on a summer trip at present and don't feel like fooling with this, I'll maybe contact them when I get home in the fall. Seriously, thanks for your information and suggestions!

Your post referenced the tool for rethreading the stem- that's what I bought at Menards for less than $2

I'm sure it misses you just as much! Just go stand in front of the workbench and ask the troll nicely if you could trade another tool for this aged treasure

What I really want it a tap the size of the die on that tool. It's a 0.307" x 32 thread. 0.3125" is 5/16th and I can find all different grades of them. That's 0.0055" larger, but I think it would work for what I want to use it for. I'll Google it again.

His name is Melvin or Alfred or Sigmon of something like that... He mumbles....

O'Reillys - $1.89. Now watch, I'll find mine. Was probably spit out of the same machine that the NAPA $3.49 one was.

Got my 507's in Feb, headed to Calif and I lost one on the Toad with a beep but no readings. Pulled over in Yucca Valley and checked it with air gauge. No air loss. Continued on and then lost 3 on the Toad with no air loss and no readings. Removed them all from Toad until reaching destination. Reinstalled the Toad sensors and have had no problems since then and over 4000 miles. Great system, had the old ones before TST started and even though I bought that set from the guy in Co, TST took care of me on some warranty problems. Old set finally died and I bought the 507's from TST. Great company, great service. So if you're having problems with your system or need some further explanation on it give Dan a call. These guys are right up there with the Fantastic Fan folks in Customer service.

I had one that read something like 197s, yet the L Bs were fine. Rebooted the monitor and never had another issue.
