Just a reminder: You can get CR 1632 batteries from this guy.

I use him. Low prices and fast shipping. Doesn't hurt that he is just across town from me. Just replaced all of mine for the start of my season.

I just got a 507 system from Dan and have a question about the Repeater that installs in the back of my MH. Where have others got 12 volts from?? I guess it is possible to drop down in the engine compartment and get 12 volts in the rear run bay, just a little nervous about doing that....

I got mine from one of the overhead closet lights.

I put a switch in the closet so the repeater is only powered when the switch is turned on.

Hi Dan. I am one of your first customers several years ago. Last year I sent several sensors in for rebuild and received new ones from you, however I lost the phone number and address to send them to. Are you still doing this, how much now, and where do I send them. Also, how do I pay for this service?

I rely on the TPMS every trip.

We talked when you first took this over from that other guy. Sure glad you did!!!!!!!!

I bout a cig lighter plug, wired the repeater to that, and then run the repeater in my toad. I do have an always hot cig lighter in my toad that makes this possible.

When we had our rig built I had them put in 12 V plugs beside the bed. I took an old cell phone charge and cut the plug off it, then spliced it to the repeater. I just plug it in when we travel.

I wired my TST to a spare lug under the dash panel.

rear dual valve stem??

I installed the TST 507 sensor system but can not get the rear inner to read any pressure. Tried 4 known good sensors, and the problem seems to be in the wheel valve stem.

My sequence of events are:
1. using the valve stem, I can add air and can also read 100 psi tire pressure on the gauge.
2. install the 507 sensor, can not add any air nor read any tire pressure with my gauge.
3. replace sensor with good one, no change.
4. back out the valve stem a few turns, no change.
5. remove the valve core completely and the tire does not lose any air pressure. (pictured below)

any ideas without having to remove the wheels????

First off, that valve core looks strange with whatever is attached to it on the end that is very long.

Here are two photos of what you would normally find inside a truck tire valve stem for a core. The longer one has a moisture filter to soak up any moisture that the air compressor may introduce to the tire.

My guess is that you have a very weird setup on your inner dual's. You need to dissect that first to find out what is not normal and why. Or possibly you are using braided extensions which if you are they need to be removed and replaced with solid ones.

My recommendation are the Dually Valve Stems from this place.

Dr4Film,

thanks for the response.I should have added that the Newmar is only a year old and hasn't been tampered with so I'll just try to contact Freightliner or Accuride for some more information on their 22.5 " aluminum wheels.

Did you try calling TST for technical help?
