Unfortunately the batteries are not user replaceable in my model. You have to send the sensors in and pay around $20 each, I think. The batteries are supposed to last 5-7 years.

Dan:
Doe your system integrate with SilverLeaf's Glass Dash, like Pressure Pro?
Thanks

New TST 507RV 6-Sensor Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Just completed 2-week, 1,750 mile trip (NorCal, Oregon, Wash). All sensors worked perfectly showing tire PSI and Temps. A great product...easy to install, all sensors and monitor worked perfectly, out of the box.

Very interesting to watch tire psi and temps change while driving. Very reassuring to know tires are NOT underinflated/overheated. Made the trip less stressful and enjoyable!

Highly recommend the Truck System Technology TPMS.

On/Off Switch Problems

I bought the 507 flo-thru system 2.5 years ago. I had a couple of hiccups with the system in the first year, one bad sensor and a corrupted display on the monitor, and they were resolved immediately....very impressive.

I went away last month and I found that the On/Off slide switch on the monitor has a problem. If I slide it slowly to the On position the display does come on momentarily however when it stops in the On position it is off. I've tried sliding extremely slowly with the same result. The only way I can get it to stay on is to leave it plugged in to the car charger which isn't the optimal way to use it.

I sent Mike an email but got an auto response that says he away but returning in March 2016?? I sent Dan the same email on July 9th and have yet to hear back from him.

Has anyone had this problem with their monitor? Obviously something has gone awry with the slide switch and I don't know whether opening the monitor up and spraying some isopropyl alcohol or electrical cleaner will do any good.

Has anyone been in contact with Dan or Mike 'recently".

Thanks.....Ron

Ron, I just spoke with a rep on the phone yesterday and as of later that afternoon, I received a UPS tracking notice.

Just call them Monday and s'plain what's going on.

Probably a bad solder joint. If you have a steady hand, you can try to fix it, but I would call them Monday and talk to them first.

Well I'll wait and see what happens when I call on Monday and I may end up opening it up and have a look. My first one had a corrupt display which ending up showing partial characters so maybe 3rd time lucky

Mike Benson

Thanks for the update on Mike Benson, shame he was an attribute to TST. Hopefully he moved on to greener pastures. This explains him not answering my PM.

I was told that Mike had to handle some family obligations, not that he left for greener pastures. I have had some contacts with TST since he left and they are still very agressive in providing assistance. Dan stays busy trying to cover the shows they have to be at--I think they are bigger in the truck industry than the RV industry, and that takes time.

Something has changed at TST. I called to get more rubber seals because it is time to change the batteries on our four 507 sensors. They are not free or sold separately anymore. The new price is over $12 with shipping for six assemblies when all I wanted was four rubber seals.
I got a real different feeling for this company. I will wait to change batteries.
