WINNEBAGO DEBUTS NEW LINEUP AT FLORIDA RV SUPERSHOW

FOREST CITY, IOWA, January 15, 2019 – RV enthusiasts will get a first-look at the latest models from Winnebago at the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa this week. The show is open to the public January 16-20, 2019.

Making Florida RV SuperShow debuts will be the Minnie Drop 210RBS travel trailer, Micro Minnie Fifth Wheel and the Vita and Adventurer motorhomes.

Minnie Drop 210RBS: Winnebago Towables will unveil the all-new Minnie Drop 210RBS floorplan. The Minnie Drop, typically built on a single axle, is known for its novelty and rounded, retro shape. The 210RBS will maintain the Minnie Drop’s aesthetic features while adding a second axle. The added axle creates an opportunity to increase holding tank capacities enabling owners to enjoy longer, off-grid camping experiences.



“The dual axle Minnie Drop is another example of how our team at Winnebago Towables continues to innovate,” said Adam Christoffersen, Product Manager. “The weight, narrow body, eight-foot-wide stability and second axle make this unit ideal for towing by most SUV’s and small trucks. By also adding that second axle, we are able to offer full-feature amenities inside which are not typically offered in a tear drop trailer.”



The Minnie Drop floorplan is equipped with modern kitchen amenities such as a double bowl sink, three-burner cooktop, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, pantry and more. A spacious rear bathroom, U-shaped dinette in the slide out, 54” x 74” Murphy Bed, and outside kitchen all create added livability. The Minnie Drop 210RBS has a starting Base MSRP of $$30,378.

Micro Minnie Fifth Wheel: Capitalizing on the success of the seven-foot wide, Micro Minnie trailer, Winnebago Towables has extended the concept into the fifth wheel market with the Micro Minnie fifth wheel.

Towable by a mid-size truck, the fifth wheel has received numerous honors from RV industry publications and is equipped with upgraded features generally found in top-notch towables. A flush mount cooktop with glass cover, stainless steel sink, true gel coat fiberglass sidewalls, and plenty of large windows add to the allure of the compact fifth wheel. Two Micro Minnie Fifthwheel floorplans, the 2405RG and 2405RL will be displayed at Tampa.



Vita: A compact Class C diesel built on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis, the Vita offers quality and innovation customers expect from Winnebago at a base MSRP of $119,670. The Vita, which gained Best of Show honors from industry publications following this year’s Open House in Elkhart, Indiana, is equipped with best in class storage, holding tank sizes and carrying capacity. Other features include a new quiet, durable Supershell composite sleeper deck, a new prewired track and roof panel for Wi-Fi and cellular boost antenna systems and industry leading off the grid capabilities.

The interiors are highlighted by a best in class galley with large counter space, double sink, ample storage and a panoramic window. The Vita is available in two floorplans – the 24P and 24F.

Adventurer: The all-new Adventurer is full of user-friendly features and is the definition of Winnebago Class A Gas luxury. Built with Winnebago’s legendary SuperStructure, the Adventurer offers five family-friendly floorplans to meet a variety of tastes and needs. The interior showcases amenities normally found in diesel pushers like: Corian countertops, a Versa driver cab seat and Primera furniture coverings. Key exterior highlights include an entertainment center, pet leash tie down, an LP system provided in the patio area of the coach and full body paint with chrome mirrors.

WB needs to rethink that Murphy bed. From the picture, it appears the plywood bed platform is right where you'd put your head/shoulders if sitting on that sofa (or whatever that is).

Any pics of the new Adventurer? I wonder what "Primera furniture coverings" are?

I think that Primera is the vinyl (fake leather) material on the couches and chairs. It is used in the Vista’s and other RV’s by Winnebago.

Hopefully, it's not another knockoff of Ultraleather that starts peeling once you're out of warranty.

Just learned on local news tonight Winnebago is releasing wheelchair models in the Intent, Adventurer, and Forza coaches. Haven't seen any interior pics yet. Although they've built many specialty vehicles......Winnebago Industries now joins Newmar in this design offering as a regular part of their lineup.
