We have never had rodents get in to the rig while parked in our yard. Rig is closed up and 3 weeks ago went in and droppings everywhere. Open it up, cleaned it, put down bait and 4 days later they are back. Must have external access. Any ideas out there?

Check around all of the drain pipes and cables and wiring coming up thru the floor. Check under sinks and cabinets, bathroom and kitchen. Mice can squeeze in the smallest openings. check all of the compartments for signs of mice or rodents. They have to be getting in somewhere.

Did u put the bait in the coach? I place bait in the compartments.

Go to ACE or Wamart, or something like that and get some old fashioned spring traps. Put peanut butter on the bait levers and set them out. When you catch one, rebait and place the trap somewhere else.

They still work.

You just aren't done yet. Home vs. somewhere else makes no difference in your approach. The plan is to keep at it until problem is gone. We place rat poison in high traffic areas. If you suspect they're coming from outside (no surprise this time of year) put your bait in the compartments where your hoses and cord enter.

we put traps inside and in the bays - caught many within several days - then decided to put traps outside on the ground right behind the wheels - caught many more everyday - but caught no more inside - realized that they were coming in at nite and leavin before daylite - no problems since.
But now I have ANT problems - must have picked up a whole colony several weeks ago - still here and hard to track down - we find them in a different place everyday - we spray religiously, but finding the colony has become elusive!
And, in both situations we are traveling several days a week...
