Send a message via Yahoo to The General
Would like to know more details; original owner, year, etc?
I'm sure you have had the Revolution certified by a master mechanic.
I would ask the previous owner about the Gen Hrs.
Some owners are full timers, dry campers, run lifesaving equipment and need the generator for varied tasks.
Before shaking hands, be sure all is operational and have a lot of money in your pocket for possible repairs and upgrades.

The generator hours are actually favorable....they like to be run regularly.

I went to factory school way back in 97. At that time, they told us the design life of the Onan was 10,000 hrs. I would not be adraid of the hrs. As the other guy said, using them is best. They told us that powerline trucks that used the onan to run elec. chainsaws to trim trees, it was not unusual to last 15,000 hrs.

IMHO, 2,500 hours is not bad.
